Claire Stackhouse LLB
All Star Cheerleaders General Manager
All Star Pride Gym Manager   

Claire began her cheerleading coaching career in 2008 after injury forced her retirement from a successful competitive dance career to World representative level. Claire has 7 years experience coaching competitive cheerleading teams at all levels to over 14 national championship wins and 6 grand championship titles. Claire is passionate about developing the sport of cheerleading in New Zealand and divides her time between her roles as gym manager and head coach of All Star Pride and Programme Director for the All Star Cheerladers Programme nationally. For Claire the most rewarding thing about coaching is helping athletes get to a level or skill that they never thought possible. Claire currently coaches Sassykatz, Lynx, Panthers, Fiercekatz and Sabres.

Jacynta Cleine
Pride West Coach

Jacynta started cheerleading in 2007. Jacynta was captain of Christchurch's first ever level 3 team Bullets previous to the programme coming under new coaching direction and becoming All Star Pride. After that time Jacynta was an integral member of our senior level 3 team Jagz. Jacynta has achieved numerous top 3 finishes at national championships during her cheer career. Jacynta returned to the All Star Pride family in a coaching capacity at the end of 2015. Jacynta is passionate about giving back to and growing the sport of cheerleading. Bubbly, outgoing and personable Jacynta loves to encourage and inspire our young athletes to be their very best and is currently the coach of our Rising Star class at Pride West.

Tayla Hasseltine
Pride West and East Coach

Tayla started competitive cheerleading at the age of 14 and is a current member of our Sabres team. Tayla has competed nationally and internationally including competing in America with her previous gym Elite Cheer. Tayla has coached up and coming mini and youth aged athletes for 3 years in addition to coaching acrobatics for dance. In 2015 Tayla assisted in coaching Kittenz and Cheetahz to national titles and top 2 finishes. In 2016 Tayla coached Kittenz to an undefeated season in the Youth Level 1 division including 2 national championship titles and 1 international championship title win. Tayla also coached Cheetahz to back to back wins in the Senior Level 1 division in the same season. In 2017 Tayla is coaching our west and east Shooting Stars and assisting with Fiercekatz. Outside of cheer, Tayla is currently studying at the University of Canterbury.

Ally Demarchi 
Pride West Coach

Ally fell in love with the sport of cheerleading in 2009 when she began cheerleading in our Shooting Star class. Ally was a part of All Star Pride's first ever Grand Championship title winning team Tinkerbellz in 2010. Ally has progressed through the levels to become a founding member of our level 5 restricted elite team, Sabres winning many more national titles along the way. Ally is passionate about passing on her love for cheerleading to our youngest up and coming athletes and has volunterred her time to assist with coaching since 2013. Ally assisted Sassykatz to win 2 national championship, 2 grand championship and an international championship title in 2016 as well as qualifying place at the Gloabl Dance + Cheer Games 2017.

Shelby Shaw
Pride West and East Coach


Karlee Macfarlane
Pride West CIT

Karlee started competitive cheerleading in 2010 at the age of eight and was a part of All Star Pride's first ever Grand Championship title winning team Tinkerbellz. Since her very first class Karlee has been passionate about all aspects of cheerleading which has seen her go on to be a part of many more national and grand championship title winning teams. Karlee currently competes on our level 4 team Fiercekatz. In 2016 she assisted Kittenz to an undefeated season of 2 national championship titles and an international championship title. Karlee is assisting with Jagz and Cheetahz in 2017. Karlee is passionate about helping others to reach their full potential.

Lily Scarlett
Pride West CIT

Lily started competitive cheerleading in 2010 and was a member of All Star Pride's first ever Grand Championship Title winning team, Tinkerbellz. Lily is a current member of our level 5 restricted Sabres team. Lily is passionate about passing on her knowledge and love for cheerleading to young athletes. Lily currently assists with Sassykatz.

Emily Reeves
Pride West CIT

Emily started competitive cheerleading in 2010 as a member of our Butterflyz Mini Level 1 elite team. Emily progressed to become a founding member of our Restricted Level 5 elite team Sabres team winning many national titles and multiple grand championship titles along the way.  Emily has held age group national titles in trampoline, double mini tramp and power tumbling. In 2015 and 2016 she was selected to represent New Zealand in power tumbling at the Australian Nationals and, most recently, at the Indo-Pacific Championships where she won gold in the double mini event. In 2016 Emily assisted Cheetahz to win back to back national titles. Emily continues to assist with our Cheetahz team in 2017.

Shayla Bell
Pride East CIT

Shelby started cheerleading in 2011 in our Shooting Star class. Shelby has grown up in the Pride programme working her way up the levels to be an outstanding all around athlete and founding member of our Senior Restricted Level 5 team Sabres. Shelby represented New Zealand at the Global Dance + Cheer Games in Hawaii in June 2016 as a member of Lynx and Fiercekatz. Shelby has aqcuired a wealth of knowledge over the past 6 years in both tumbling, stunting and dance and is excited to return to the coaching team having previously assisted with Superkatz in 2014 and Lynx in 2015. Shelby has won numerous grand championships and national titles and is excited to have the opportunity to inspire others to succeed in the sport. In 2017 Shelby is coaching Cheetahz, Showkatz and West Shining Stars.
Shayla began cheerleading in 2010 in our Shooting Star class at age 6. Shayla is a veteran member of our the Pride programme having been a part of our family for 7 seasons. Shayla is passionate and dedicated to cheerleading having worked tirelessly over many years to achieve many grand championship and national title wins. Shayla represented New Zealand at the Global Dance + Cheer Games in Hawaii in June 2016 on Lynx and Fiercekatz. Shayla was also a founding member of our Senior Restricted Level 5 team, Sabres. A known performer on the competition floor, Shayla is excited to have the opportunity to work with young athletes to bring out their inner sass and improve their skills. Shayla is committed to helping our Pride East athletes experience the excitement and sense of belonging that comes with being a part of the Pride family.

Brodie Shaw
Pride West CIT

Brodie began cheerleading in 2011 in our Shooting Star class at age 8. Brodie has grown up in the Pride programme to become one of our most highly skilled tumblers and a founding member of our Senior Level 5 Restricted team Sabres. Brodie represented New Zealand at the Global Dance + Cheer Games in Hawaii on Lynx and Fiercekatz in 2016. In 2016 Brodie assisted in our Saturday tumbling and West Shining Star classes where she will continue to assist in 2017.
