Terry Skeens

Terry is from Jacksonville, Florida and has been coaching competitive cheer for 20 years! He was a collegiate athlete at Trinity Valley in Athens Texas. He is a former All American and has coached teams to hundreds of State and National titles. He has won Summit, NCA, Cheersport, and UCA a combined 27 times! Terry is a former gym owner and has moved to New Zealand with his wife and 3 children. He believes in the values that team sports instil in young athletes such as discipline, work ethic, respect, and teamwork and strives to keep practices motivational and uplifting. He hope’s to see the sport of Competitive cheer represented in the Olympics some day!

OUR PEOPLE

Sam Waters

Sam has competed for All Star Cheerleaders for 9 years and coached for 7 years. Sam has represented New Zealand at many overseas competitions, including twice at the World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida in 2012 and 2014. Sam loves coaching because she is able to share her knowledge and spark a passion for cheer in her athletes like her coaches did for her. Sam loves building character in kids and allowing them to learn life lessons that they can take with them beyond the world of cheerleading.
